“I am a software engineer major and this summer, I had summer lessons at Brainworks. At Brainworks, I learnt coding and under this coding I learnt python, Php and JavaScript. The lessons I attended at Brainworks wasn’t an easy one because I had to wake up early and rush my daily routine before getting to my destined location. It took me days to get a hang of the coding most times I had to skip somethings I do to revise what I had been taught in my previous lessons but at the end it was worth it.
Now a days, we mostly see men doing coding and when they do it, it looks so hard and frustrating but to be honest, with days, weeks and years of practice it will look simple and fun therefore, i’m encouraging both young and old ladies to attest pick an interest in any programing language and see their outcome at the end of the day”!
“My name is Arimih Leo-Maria. I am currently a student of The National Open University of Nigeria studying Computer Science. During this summer 2019, I had computer skill training at Brainworks. I was able to acquire skills on coding (Python, Php and JavaScript). It has been a very difficult time but as they say. “Nothing good comes easy”. Coding requires time and hours of practice/study, but I thank God I was able to understand it.
I therefore encourage others; both young and old not to hesitate in trying out this great skill acquisition because the demand of programmers in the modern world is increasing with great pace and they can achieve great things through this”!
“Being in the class requires a lot of patience and understanding Brainworks literally pushes you to be patient irrespective of how you feel.
The classes I took have been good so far especially Access on Microsoft Office Suite since the consultant takes out time to make sure no point is misunderstood. Microsoft excel is all about constant usage and learning.
Unlike Python Programming even though when I first heard of it, I was literally not interested since I had zero idea about it. This also involves a lot of your time, patience and constant practices. So far, the class has been going well and hopefully with constant practicing and more usage, it will become a piece of cake especially after you get joy from running a code that comes out successful”!
